10. Sports Drinks
These drinks are essentially uncarbonated sodas, packed with sugar and other ingredients that are bad for you.
9. Multi-Grain foods
Many muti-grain foods are 99% corn, .5% wheat and .5% barley. These hardly count as "muti grain."
8. Sport Energy Bars
Just because a candy bar has a picture of a mountain on it, doesn't mean it is healthy.
7. Fast-Food Salad
Taking a salad and packing it full of mayo, salt and fatty cheese defeats the purpose of the salad. But hey, it has super preserved lettuce, so it must be good for you!
There's fruit in the title, there's fruit on the packages, sometimes they're in the shape of fruits, and they're almost an entire 1% made from things that were technically called fruit at some point.
5. "Low-Fat" Foods
4. Coffee Shop Muffins
A muffin can have around 400 calories, 18 grams of fat, and 35 grams of sugar!
3. Smoothies
All the sugar from the fruit juice without the fibre or the rest of the good stuff in the fruit. Add in the artificial sweetener and you have a very unhealthy snack.
Packed with more artificial junk and chemical that will do more damage than sugar. Nothing good about aspartame. Combine this with a false sense of security and you're well on your way to weight gain. "I'll have a triple burger and a large fry. But make the soda diet. I don't want to get fat"
Like fruit snacks, fruit juice is often no more that water, sugar, colour, artificial flavor and a drop of something that once resembled fruit.
